What do destinations purchase?
Destinations purchase a subscription to Shrpa, which provides them access to a platform that allows them to create and manage collaborations. Shrpa also provides destinations with tools to collect UGC from the local community and use it to augment their websites and social media.
Beyond that, destinations purchase collaborations either in packs or individually. Destinations on Shrpa often lack the internal resources to run collaborations or build out these tools to make use of the content on their own, so partnering with Shrpa opens the door to more opportunities for both creators and destinations.
What benefits do creators receive?
Creators enjoy the benefits of a free platform to easily discover and apply for opportunities that match their interests and perspectives. Gone are the days of having to spend countless hours promoting their work and attempting to find communities with collaboration opportunities that match their needs.
In addition, Shrpa's streamlined platform makes it easy to create, deliver, and even feature the content they create for destinations. There is no need to set up dedicated portfolio sites or mess with file-sharing platforms to deliver content.
Finally, payment is sent immediately after the community approves the content or 10 days (whichever is sooner). There is no need to send each destination their own W-9, fill out purchase orders, or wait for the net 60 for payment.
